| Circus is located next to basketball
hall. We park at the basketball hall parking lot and demonstrate
on the lawn area opposite the circus entrance. Dixon reserve is
actually road reserve for the future Roe Hwy and as such there
is no council verge for us to protest on. Wed 13th 7.30pm Animal Liberation welcomes the assistance of specialist campaign
groups such as CircusWatch

The council meeting held on the Tuesday 19th November 2002 did not support the move to ban circuses that used animals. As such, we must continue our efforts to inform the City of Cockburn constituents of the truth behind these so called "family" circus shows. Our final demo for the Hamilton Hill shows will be 6.30pm this Saturday evening 23rd November - Please attend this demo. Late January/early February Stardust will be in Rockingham and that will be another campaign where we need support in numbers. Please continue to write the City of Cockburn and request that they no longer allow circuses using animals to perform. City of Cockburn |
