Latest news is that Lennons Circus have applied to Perth City to hold the circus from 24 June to 20 July. Also they will be in Rockingham from June June 23rd to June 29th - The Lennons own Lennon Bros, Stardust & Burtons circuses
Are they splitting the circus in two? Where will the three lions and
two monkeys be when they are in Perth, if permission is given (Perth has
a ban in place for performing exotic animals).
Apparently, they will be doing daily shows with two sessions per day on
the weekend
Please contact the above councils and request that the circus not be allowed. Even though there will be no exotic animals actually performing in the City of Perth, the animals are still being dragged around the country, only they will be 'parked' somewhere during the Perth sessions.
Perth Councilors - remember many councilors are on the animals side and that Perth has a ban in place, just Lennons Circus are trying to manoeuvre around the legislation
