Intensive Animal Farming

Animals are kept in feedlots, stalls or cages in an attempt to better "manage" the breeding, raising and harvesting of them.

These conditions invariably bring about an increase in disease and stress of these confined animals.

Animals are often denied their natural diets, usually they are feed "high protein" foods to increase the bulk of the animal. These same animals are subject to little or no exercise, this in turn leads to bone deformaties.
