| Vivisection rests on the fallacy that it is necessary for the welfare of humans. It is not. Todays killer diseases are mainly caused by unhealthy lifestyle and the chemical environment. Because of obvious differences between humans and other animals, testing on animals often leads vivisectors in the wrong direction.Medical research should be about alleviating illness and disease, not inflicting it upon other creatures! |

LD50 (Lethal Dose 50) is a test of the toxicity of a substance,
eg toothpaste. Some people want to know exactly how much toothpaste can be forced down a rabbits throat before 50% of the test population dies. We all feel much safer now don`t we!!! |
